Nachdem der SQL Server 2008 und .NET 2.0 installiert wurden, bricht der Download der QC Software nach ungefähr 20 von 34 MB ab. Kann mir jemand helfen? Hier die Fehlermeldung bzw die Log-Datei, die beim Abbruch erzeugt wurde:

Danach Neustart und über Windows Automatische Updates Net 3,5 Installieren

Nach jedem Update wieder Neustart und wieder (gefühlt 10x) Automatische Updates nachsehen und Automatische Installieren lassen.

Inzwischen funktioniert der Download - nach mehrmaligem Neuinstallieren der ".NET" Versionen. Jetzt steigt die Installation der Applikation aus mit der Fehlermeldung

"Can`t connect to SQL-Server"

Leider liefert diesselbe keine weiteren Details.

Da ich kein SQL Experte bin, weiss ich nicht mehr weiter.

Da fällt mir noch folgende Frage ein:

Setzt QC eine bestimmte Sprachvariante des SQL Servers voraus? Ich bin im Zusammenhang mit der ganzen De-Installiererei auf das Problem gestossen, dass sich die englischen Updates von Microsoft für den SQL Server nicht mit der deutschen Basis verstehen und umgekehrt. Hat das eventuell auch einen Einfluss auf das Funktionieren des QC?

Nein, das sollte sprachunabhängig funktionieren.

Die Fehlermeldung deutet auf ein Problem der Benutzerinstanz hin.

Mach mal folgendes:

QC beenden
den Ordner komplett löschen: C:\Users\[Nutzername]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server Data\SQLEXPRESS
QC starten.

Der Ordner wird dann korrekt wieder aufgebaut.

Achtung: [Nutzername]musst du entsprechend in dem Pfad oben ersetzen.

Schade - es ist zum Mäusemelken!

Damit ist schon mal das eine Problem weg.

Hast du IE als Standardbrowser?

Oder mal das Installationspaket probiert?

Die Fehlermeldung im Anhang besagt, dass eine Datei QC.lng fehlt, die QC aber benötigt. Also lief die QC Installation nicht richtig ab.

Ja, IE ist als Default-Browser eingestellt.

Unabhängig davon, ob ich die WEB Installation oder das Installationspaket für die Installation von QC nutze, wird jedes MAl der Download gestartet, der dann nach ca 20-21 MB stopped. Unten die Fehlermeldung - dieses Mal nach Starten des SETUP.EXE aus dem Installationspaket.

Was mich irritiert, ist die Tatsache dass der Download noch nicht mal durchläuft. Das heisst doch, dass die Installation noch garnicht gestartet wurde? Und die Fehlermeldung

"An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

weist doch anscheinend darauf hin, dass auf der Serverseite etwas nicht rund läuft? Kann das sein?
